BCI Short Video Competition Winners!
The Business Confucius Institute (BCI) at the University of Leeds is delighted to announce the winners of its inaugural Short Video Competition, which invited students, staff, alumni, and members of the wider community to share their experiences with Chinese language and culture through creative storytelling.
After receiving a wide range of engaging entries, our judging panel carefully reviewed the submissions and awarded prizes to the following winners:

The winning videos highlighted a rich variety of themes, from personal journeys with the Confucius Institute to creative reflections on the joys of learning Chinese.

As part of the competition, all local entries have also been submitted to the Global CIEF Short Video Competition, where participants will have the chance to compete for international recognition and prizes, including certificates, trophies, and awards of up to RMB 10,000. The global winners will be announced on Saturday 27th September 2025.
The BCI would like to congratulate all of our winners and thank everyone who took part for their creativity and enthusiasm. This competition has showcased the many ways that Chinese language and culture bring people together and enrich our community.
