Mandarin Taster Session Success at Language Zone

Mandarin Taster Session Success at Language Zone
On Friday, 14th November, we welcomed curious learners to our Mandarin Taster Session at Language Zone as part of the World Unite Festival.
We kicked things off with a friendly chat about China, asking if anyone had visited and which cities they knew. Then came the fun part: learning pinyin and practising the four tones together. Everyone did brilliantly!

Next, we tried out some everyday greetings like nǐ hǎo (hello), xièxie (thank you), and zàijiàn (goodbye). To finish, we got creative by writing beautiful, auspicious Chinese characters on red paper, including 福 (good fortune), 平安 (peace), and 发财 (prosperity).
It was a fantastic session full of learning, laughter, and cultural discovery. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
