This pop up for traders at Leeds Markets will give them the tools they need to communicate better with their Chinese customers.

新年快乐!Happy Chinese New Year! Lantern Festival on Tuesday 19 February is the official end of this year's Chinese New Year period. We will be at Leeds Markets to have a cuppa (Chinese tea of course) with market traders and provide resources to help them communicate even better with Chinese customers who visit their stalls.

Visitors can enjoy a cup of tea as they watch our videos and learn some simple words and phrases. We'll also have a cheat sheet and some other surprises to take away for those who drop in for a chat. Traders, don't miss this chance to stop by to see what goodies we have for you and ask us your questions!

If you are a Chinese customer yourself, we would love to see you there and hear your thoughts about what businesses can do to make you feel welcome.
