Chinese New Year Gala

A spectacular evening of performances to celebrate Chinese New Year, brought to you by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and supported by The Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds.

The show is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rat, whether you are a Chinese student missing out on the festivities at home, or a local resident interested in experiencing a Chinese New Year show.

The gala will involve a variety of wonderful performances, in a similar format to the famous TV variety show watched by millions in China on the eve of Chinese New Year.

Enjoy dancing, singing, acting, traditional Chinese performances and much more. The show will feature students from the University of Leeds alongside professional artists. The show will be presented in English and Chinese.

During the event there will be multiple lucky draws taking place with big prizes up for grabs!
