Chinese New Year Gala

A spectacular evening of performances to celebrate Chinese New Year, brought to you by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and supported by The Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds.

The show is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dog, whether you are a Chinese student missing out on the festivities at home, or a local resident interested in experiencing a Chinese New Year show.

The gala will involve a variety of wonderful performances, in a similar format to the famous TV variety show watched by millions in China on the eve of Chinese New Year! Enjoy authentic traditional Chinese arts including lion dancing, jujitsu and face-changing, as well as performances by Chinese students and Leeds University student societies.
