Learn some Chinese New Year related lingo!

Celebrate the spirit of Chinese New Year with a lively Language Taster Session hosted by the Business Confucius Institute. Join us on Tuesday 10th February, 12–1pm, in Maurice Keyworth SR (1.05) for a friendly and engaging introduction to Mandarin.

This one‑hour session offers a fun, accessible way to explore the language, learn useful seasonal phrases, and discover the traditions surrounding the upcoming Year of the Horse, which begins the following week. Whether you’re completely new to Mandarin or simply curious about Chinese culture, you’ll leave with practical expressions, cultural insights, and a taste of the excitement that surrounds Lunar New Year celebrations.
