£5 (includes a kite to take home. Book via the Online Store.

Curator Antonia Lovelace will show you around the 'Voices of Asia' exhibition at Leeds City Museum, which features a selection of Chinese kites. After drawing inspiration from the displays you will then spend time painting kites in the workshop.

This is an absorbing activity for adults and children alike, and a great Easter activity for families. Why not come along and paint a kite together?

How to book:

The workshop costs £5, payable via the University of Leeds Online Store. Pay online to book your place. If you wish to work on one kite together with your child it will cost £5 for both of you.

Once the workshop sells out it won’t be possible to make a payment. If this happens and you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email Confucius@leeds.ac.uk with your name and contact number.

How to get there:

You can find more information about the venue, including directions, on the Leeds City Museum website.
