Staff Festival: A Festival of Making

The University of Leeds Staff Festival is an opportunity for staff members to relax and have fun on campus with their families. Along with this year's theme, 'A Festival of Making', we will offer workshops on calligraphy and Chinese tea.
Calligraphy
In this short introduction to Chinese calligraphy you will learn the basics (how to hold the brush and do the key strokes) before choosing from a selection of Chinese characters to produce a final piece to take home with you.

Maximum of twelve people per session.
Tea
Learn the steps in making Chinese tea and enjoy the calming atmosphere of a Chinese tea ceremony.

Maximum of six people per session.
