Step Into China: Confucius at Leeds exhibition

A group of MA students from the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies invite you to ‘Step Into China’ and view an exhibit at the University of Leeds in collaboration with the Business Confucius Institute.

The temporary exhibition is being held in the unique setting of a language classroom where visitors will learn not just about the Chinese language, as is typical for the setting, but also about traditional objects and their importance in Chinese culture - as well as collaborations with the Institute and local businesses such as The Body Shop to transform the experience of Chinese customers in Leeds.

There will be a live tea ceremony, kites, lanterns and much more to help tell the story of the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds and its cross-cultural impact both on campus and further afield.

Visitors are encouraged to touch and engage with some of the objects on display. We hope you join us and become a part of the cultural interaction.
