2019年10月24日和11月14日,利兹大学商务孔子学院与利兹市政厅旅游局合作,为当地商户举办了系列汉语教学工作坊。由于利兹市中国游客数量逐年增加,当地商户愈发认识到了解中国文化、学习中国语言对于扩大市场份额、吸引中国客户的重大作用。两次工作坊旨在使当地商户了解相关中国文化与语言知识,“为中国市场做好准备”。
