Co-op Academy students experience a China-themed day at the University of Leeds
A group of Year 7 students from Co-op Academy Leeds visited the University of Leeds to take part in a programme of activities organised by the Business Confucius Institute (BCI).
Local students compete at first annual Mandarin Spelling Bee
Students from Co-op Academy Leeds and Harrogate Grammar School went head-to-head in a Mandarin Spelling Bee held at Co-op Academy Leeds on 1 July, competing for a trophy awarded by the BCI.
Mandarin Teacher Training Day
The Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds hosted its annual teacher training day at the University of Leeds on 8th June, 2019. The training was delivered by Mr. Joseph Bensley, the Mandarin and Languages Programme Coordinator for The Petchey Academy in Hackney, East London.
Mandarin Excellence Programme Northern Hub Culture Day
Students from local schools have spent the day at the University of Leeds for a Chinese Culture Day run by the East Asian Students Department with support from the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds.
