Aimed at the local visitor economy, the Visit Leeds China Forum aims to provide support for businesses hoping to tap into the huge potential of the inbound Chinese visitor market.
Our role in the Forum
The Business Confucius Institute is pleased to be working closely with Visit Leeds to support local businesses that wish to learn more about Chinese language and culture to serve their Chinese customers better. We provide Chinese language training for China Forum members.

The BCI has commissioned a student at Leeds University Business School (LUBS) to carry out a consultancy project as part of her Master's course. The research she does in response to brief from the BCI will form an important part of her academic work and help local businesses understand their Chinese customers better.
The Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds (BCI) celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Rat with a business networking event on 21 January organised in partnership with Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (the LEP), Visit Leeds and the China Britain Business Council (CBBC).
Apply now for awards for businesses from across Leeds City Region to showcase the exciting China partnerships which exist and demonstrate the scale and breadth of China-related activity across the city region.
Visitor attractions from around the Leeds City Region took part in the second Visit Leeds China Forum educational workshop at the Carriageworks on Thursday 14 November.
