The Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds (BCI) celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Rat with a business networking event on 21 January organised in partnership with Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (the LEP), Visit Leeds and the China Britain Business Council (CBBC).

Three University of Leeds students have returned from China after participating in a Confucius Institute trip for young leaders on the theme of innovation and entrepreneurship. They will now begin their Year in Enterprise and develop their own business ideas with support from CEES and SPARK.
Three University of Leeds students will be leaving for China on 7 July to take part in a Youth Leaders Innovation and Entrepreneurship trip organised by our sister Confucius Institute at Victoria University, Australia, along with the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and the Confucius Institute Headquarters.
